About SDGs?

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of international objectives that are part of the United Nations’ “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” unanimously adopted by the member states of the UN summit in September 2015 with the goal of creating a more sustainable and better world by 2030. Comprising 17 goals and 169 targets, the agenda pledges that no one in the world will be left behind.

Our Environmental Initiatives

  • Plant wastewater treatment

We use advanced wastewater treatment to reduce wastewater discharge to less than half the discharge standard. We are also examining how to recycle wastewater in the future.

  • Using recycled materials

Sakae Lace Group has got Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. We manufacture lace with environmentally-friendly materials.

  • Using environmentally-friendly materials

Sakae Lace Group manufactures lace by using organic cotton, recycled and bio-based fibers, materials that bring low environmental impact.

Organic cotton is an environmentally-friendly fiber that is grown without using pesticides or insecticides and prevent soil pollution.

Recycled and bio-based fibers, such as rayon and cupra, are plant-based synthetic fibers that are close to natural fibers.

They are biodegradable, meaning that they can be decomposed and returned to the soil by microorganisms that exist in the nature, and are thus eco-friendly.

Stoles of our prestigious brand (LeLaSa) also made of organic cotton and recycled fibers.
